Hi, my name is Erik. I'm a husband, father and a Christian. During the day, I spend my time working in the construction industry as a system designer, programmer and instructor as well as handling a number of other duties. At church, I'm an ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church. I have a few opinions on various matters around faith and life and I've started this blog so I could get my thoughts in writing. I don't know that anyone other than myself will ever read what I write here, but I do believe that everyone has something important to say, some more than others. I think of all the people who have lived and died before us and all the knowledge and experience that was lost with them. Considering the ease of access to the Internet and the near eternal storage capabilities of the content that is published there, it's a great resource for preserving our thoughts, opinions, teaching or random musings. It's a great way to see what kind of people lived in this world as we prepare to live in the next.
